User's Tip
For PC user tip this week I want to tell you how to specify the drive
letter of a drive on your computer, particularly for USB drives. To
change drive letter on a drive in your computer:
- Click Start >> Control Panel >>
Administrative Tools
- Click on Computer Management >> Disk Management
- Then right-click the partition whose name you want to change
<(click in the white area just below the word "Volume") and
select
"change drive letter and paths."
From here you can add, remove or change drive letters and
paths to the partition.
- Mac
User's Tip
This week for our Mac user tip, I want to tell you how to quickly zip
or archive a group of files. First, select the files - then
Control-click and select “Archive” from the menu.
That's
all there is to it.
