- Training
Opportunities
- Each
week we try to include training announcements from academies or
training organizations. This week we didn't get any new
announcements in but we had a bunch last week so take at look at the
Shownotes for the September 24th show.
- We
welcome
training announcements from any criminal justice training academy or
training organization. Just send the information to talkback@copcast.net
and we will do our best to announce your training course.
This week for our PC User tip we will talk about saving web pages with
Internet Explorer 6.
Occasionally, you may want to save an entire Web page on your computer
(text, hyperlinks, graphics, and all).
To save the
Web page that currently appears in Internet Explorer, choose
File-->Save As to open the Save Web Page dialog box . Select the
folder in which you want the page saved and then click the Save button.
- Mac
User's Tip
For the Mac User tip this week, I want to tell you how to change the
default look for all Finder windows.
In the Finder, Choose File > New Finder Window (or push
Command-N), set it exactly the way you want without selecting any file
or folder inside, and close it. That's it.
Also remember that there's an option in the Finder's General preference
pane to open all new windows in column view; it overrides other views
if selected.
